Paris, J'adore
I went to Paris 3 weeks ago for the weekend with my brother and his family. We drove there on Saturday morning at about 5am. I was still half asleep back then.
One thing that fascinated me was the Eurotunnel. I've heard of cars going inside a ferry but this is my first time taking a train, whilst still inside the car. It's pretty awesome experience :) It took us merely 20 minutes ride and then followed by another 2 hour drive to Paris city center.
We didn't do much on Saturday cuz we were all too tired from the journey and lack of sleep. On Sunday, we head down to Montmarte for lunch and to buy some souvenirs. I love Montmarte, it has lots of painters, nice cafe everywhere, the lovely Sacre Couer church uphill. It feels really French i must say.
Before we head home, we drove around the scenic route along the river seine and we stopped at this bridge where you can see Eiffel Tower on your left, and the statue of Liberty ( yes, the statue of Liberty ) on your right. I never knew that the original statue of Liberty is located in Paris, ignorant me.
What can you say, Paris is still Paris, it's a really lovely place -> despite the urine stench at some parts ...
Gosh, time fly so fast in here ... Can't believe I've been here for 4 months now. Oh I gtg soon, catching a musical show ( "Wicked" ). Heard it's good :)
Cheers ^^

Never trust a good looking landlord !
It's the weekend ! And Monday is a public holiday ! TGIF baby !
Oh and check this out ..... http://newwestend.com/trafficfree/

This Saturday, the Oxford street will be closed to traffic because apparently, there is an event to promote the movie 'Night of the Museum 2'. They are trying to capture the movie essence by placing a giant dinosaur - yes a DINOSAUR skeleton in the middle of the street and the casts of the movie will be walking around in town ! Isn't that cool ? I bet it's gonna be so much fun ... and crowded ! I'm totally going to be there.Cheerios =)
